Lord willing, on September 20, 2019 Bethel URC will be hosting a fellowship and movie night. We will be watching UNPLANNED, the true story of Abby Johnson. 

The movie will be starting promptly at 7:30 pm, doors open at 7 pm. 

Come for fellowship and refreshments before the movie.

Runtime is 1 hour 50 minutes. This movie deals with a graphic true story, there are scenes that will be disturbing to all audiences, parental discretion is advised! 

There will be a free-will offering with all proceeds to be donated to ARPA

As we prepare for another federal election we see that our political and cultural leaders increasingly want to identify as "progressive." God's good design for humanity and creation is seen as regressive and a political liability. But who decides what is progress? And what role do Christians have in such a climate? Join us on September 27, 2019 at Bethel United Reformed Church in Smithers, as we share updates about new court cases that are challenging the God-given role of parents and our freedom to express the truth about sexuality. There will be special focus on current provincial laws and opportunities to be aware of. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. with refreshments and coffee.
